Victim Mindset Assisted via Distant Healing
Being introduced to Dr. Renee a number of years ago by a mutual friend was one of the best introductions in my life to date. Dr. Renee has been, and continues to be, an incredible support, mentor, listener, friend, and guide to the healing of mind, body, and spirit. Through my work with her, and with her guidance, I am working on learning more about myself, my place in the world, how my life experiences connect to those around me, as well as my health.
I started healing touch by working with Dr. Renee in my home. Sessions included talking about what was going on with me-physically and emotionally, a time where she worked on my energy, and a debrief about what I experienced, and how that connected to what she experienced. Each session was comfortingly similar, but very different in how I felt the energy as she worked. Some of my physical struggles eased in my work with her, but that wasn’t my only goal, so we continue the work of connecting to spirit as well.
A few years ago, Dr. Renee’s family relocated to Texas. I was happy for her, but sad because I thought that would be the end of our work together. Dr. Renee informed me that we could continue our sessions together if I wished, because the two of us were already connected, and that the energy work was not contingent upon our physical proximity. I was skeptical at first, but I wanted to continue our work together, so I was willing to give it a try. Our long distance sessions follow the same pattern as those that are in person. We Skype our initial conversation, have an energy session, and debrief back on Skype. My skepticism was unfounded. From our first session, I experienced the familiar, but each time different, experiences I had in person.
Working with Dr. Renee has been, and continues to be, a life-changing experience, for the better. She is thought provoking, and incredibly gifted in her work. She is able to help me make connections, provides guidance (but not answers), and facilitates change and growth. I have found that this work is a process, so it takes time. It requires one to reflect, feel, inquire, and want to grow and change. Dr. Renee will always be there to support and guide, but I am the one who has to do the work. I feel very blessed to have been introduced to her, to work with her, and call her a friend.
