WHAT IS INTUITION?
For some it’s an internal guidance system that something is “off” in your body, your environment, your life. For some it’s an occasional sense of “I’ve done this before”. For Dr. Renee and Dr. Ramona, it’s both of those things and more. They think of themselves as intuition-guided scholar-practitioners of Energy and Mind Body Medicine.
That’s a mouthful, right? But as identical twins, they’ve been “communicating” since before birth; sensing each other in ways few people do. Over time, and with experience, they’ve learned to trust in the body-based (i.e., physical), feeling-based (i.e., emotional), and consciousness-based (i.e., spiritual) signals they receive from each other, friends, and clients.
They have also helped clients to dial in to their own body’s signals. Where in the body do you feel happiness? What about sadness? Learning to decipher the many subtle body-based indicators of joy and discomfort hones intuitive skills. With time, patience, and some support from Drs. Renee and Ramona, your journey towards healing becomes an engrossing, curiosity-driven mystery to be resolved with increasing confidence in the outcome.
Drs. Renee and Ramon truly believe that healing is not an exclusive skill. There’s no “healer’s club”. Everyone can participate. In fact, they believe that everyone should participate. Why? Because we are energy beings. According to Drs. Renee and Ramona, humans communicate at a level and at a speed science is still trying to get a handle on. It’s all about Energy.
What is ENERGY and MIND-BODY MEDICINE?
Energy Medicine refers to a wide range of healing modalities used, in some cultures for some 5000+ years, to support wellness by manipulating the vital life force “chi” or “prana” that pulses through the cells of our bodies. Acupuncture, Intention, Healing Touch, and Qigong are examples of Energy Medicine techniques.
Mind-Body Medicine refers to techniques that strengthen the connection between the mind and the body as a way to regain, maintain, and sustain, well-being. Guided imagery, HeartMath® coherence, progressive relaxation, and meditation are examples of Mind-Body Medicine techniques.
What do Energy and Mind-Body Medicine practitioners do?
Drs. Renee and Ramona offer clients the benefits of both healing modalities and mind-body techniques as systems they engage with to help you heal aspects of your energy field. What’s that? Your energy field, aura, or biofield, as it was termed in 1992 by the US National Institutes of Health, is made up of interacting fields of energy and information that surround, permeate, and affect your body’s physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual state. Within the biofield are circular vortexes of energy, sometimes referred to as “chakras” that are connected by “nadis” and tiny channels sometimes referred to as “meridians” that convey the qi into and throughout the body. Drs. Renee and Ramona assess and interpret the state of your biofield. Assessment and interpretation are skills that require of Drs. Renee and Ramona a high degree of clarity, detachment, and experience. Supporting your journey is their profound privilege.
How can healing be accomplished remotely?
“Remote” or “distant” healing generally means that there is a separation between the healer practitioner and the recipient of the healer’s intention. That separation can be a few feet, a few miles, or an entire continent. It truly doesn’t matter. After your phone consult with Drs. Renee and Ramona, follow-up Energy and Mind-Body medicine sessions are conducted using either the phone or a video conferencing platform.
As a method for improving wellness, distant or remote healing has its origins in a variety of spiritual traditions. Christianity, Buddhism, Islam, American Indian traditions, Aboriginal traditions, and Hinduism, among others all practice distant healing. Did you know that prayer is a form of remote healing? Compassion meditation focused on relieving suffering and improving wellness is a form of distant healing as well.
How does Distant Healing or Remote Healing Work?
The “how” of distant healing is rooted in the method chosen, the worldview of the healer, and quantum physics. According to Drs. Renee and Ramona, at the heart of virtually all remote healing approaches is a healer’s understanding of how the Universe works.
How are we connected to each other? That perspective informs how a healer heals. It may include a Universal Consciousness or God. It may include a non-religious perspective where everything and every being is interconnected through a Unified Energy Field.
Whatever the approach to distant healing, a healer uses focused, detached mental intention and the state of their biofield as a tool to affect healing in the client’s biofield. That detached focus with its refined vibratory field may have been developed through years of qigong or meditation training. The clarity of the healer’s intention, supported by the accompanying biofield, strengthens the connection and the healer’s ability to support a client’s wellness goals.
Will You Feel Anything?
Maybe. Maybe not. How sensitive are you? And even if you are sensitive, some days are just harder than others and you feel out-of-sorts with everything around you. A better question is, “Does it matter?” Just like the air around you can’t be seen, we still know it’s there, right? Well, a healer’s intention, a focused wave of energy exists, even if you can’t feel it. It’s still there.
Dr. Renee’s and Dr. Ramona’s clients have personally testified how effective remote healing can be. Times are changing! Drs. Renee and Ramona suggest we now live in a world in which quantum field theory is proposing that the fabric of our universe may be consciousness itself.
Everything that vibrates carries energy and information across space and time, sometimes instantaneously. For Drs. Renee and Ramona, the instantaneous sharing of thoughts isn’t weird but surprising and fun when it happens. They’ve lived it all of their lives.
